Just a short drive from the trekking cottage you will find Capo Pecora. This is a peninsula with beaches on both sides so it is always possible to find calm water one side or the other. I have camped here in the camper you see in the photo many times. Its such a beautiful spot to stay.
Of course our summers are long so people start swimming from May to October but for me I start in June normally with end of August the best when water temp is very warm.
