Last year I had a lot of bookings, but most were for 2 or 3 days, so I came up with the idea that I need some sort of incentive to encourage guests to stay for 7 days or more. I thought long and hard and arrived with the idea of a sailing boat where guests who booked 7 days can enjoy a day sailing and snorkeling and maybe 1 night anchored in quiet bay enjoying a glass of wine or 2 and a seafood dinner without extra cost.
I found the boat I was looking for and transferred it to my home so I can make a lot of alterations to make the boat comfortable and safe. It’s not a large boat as I’m also on a very tight budget as it will be non profit making in a way. I’ve always had a passion for sailing and the sea so i want my guests to experience it also. I will post from time to time on the progress of the restoration work.
