At last it’s going public.

Sorry if I have not been around much, but I have been busy renovating a property that I have fallen in love with. Unfortunately it’s not mine, it belongs to an airline pilot who just does not have time to give it the care it needs, so I was asked to sort it out and rent it out to tourists. The property was very neglected and tired although in reasonable condition, then it should be being that it’s about 8 years old. The agency that looked after last year didn’t do much in the way of cleaning and maintenance. So we ordered all new bedding, towels, cups etc, then a good lick of paint, a new veranda, then a good old clean. Now it’s more or less ready and will go in Home & Away and Airbnb this weekend. It’s been a tough couple of weeks, but I did enjoy seeing it take shape. So hopefully now I will find time to go trekking or out on my mountain bike, which I have missed.
