I had another fascinating mountain bike ride today and the silence of the forest was such a delight as I slowly made my way along some very narrow and spectacular trails, I saw no one. Making it even more special.

Silence is so hard to find in our world. Right now I am living in a tent. There are drawbacks, but oh, the freedom from malicious mouths and media, media, media is a wonderful plus

Living or just staying? I love the silence. But the mouths yes I know but most are like it.

Living. It would be nice if there were a place indoors for me in this world, but legion are the things most people seem to like and I do not, or vice versa, and so long as there continues not to be I find many things to be grateful for in my present situation.

I love living in tents as long as it’s not a permanent thing. Don’t worry you will inherit the earth, how many people will be able to say that.

Inheriting it right now, brother.
Don’t know how temporary this is destined to be. Do practice gratitude for all the things about the moment that could be so much worse, and are for many.
Thanks for the hail back

It’s difficult times for all, my life has changed somewhat , but it was my choice to live without possessions. I could never go back to working 24/7 I am healthy and enjoy life. That to me is very important.

If it’s not prying, where and how do you live?

I live in a small house in the country which I more or less built myself with a reasonable plot of land in Sardinia.

Sardinia is an island of Italy, yes?

Yes but it’s very poor but natural.

Not to trivialize it’s suffering, but poverty’s a very relative thing. Anyone living in an American metropolis is starved for a touch of Mother Nature!

I can only imagine. Here I live the slow life and love it, a bit like going back in time where people still use real money not bitcoin etc.

Ya, they’re about to outlaw money here, along with any potential for private transaction. The people will have to move back toward a barter and gift economy — which might turn out to be a very good thing.

I’ve been doing that for years, we do favours for favours and no money exchanges, this way you can live with very little money.

I think many may be in a hurry to accumulate as many readers as possible by this means. In America we stay so busy, busy, busy, and we tell ourselves we need to get still busier in order to “succeed”.
Nice talking to you too, bro

But what is success? I think it’s being content and happy, not just money or position.
